Trimming presses are designed for the operation of trimming flash (burrs) of forgings in hot and cold condition and the manufacture of sheet material parts with operations of punching, relatively shallow drawing and other cold stamping works. Trimming press includes treatments such as bending, rotating, drawing, or stretching implemented by special dies or punching tools. Trimming, or pressings, are created by inserting a metal billet into a specialist machine often referred to as a trim metal press.
Trimming presses can be also regarded as blanking. The blanking press is intended for manufacturing various parts of sheets using cold stamping operations: blanking, punching, drawing, bending, etc.
The presses can be supplied complete with a hydropneumatic cushion by requests of customers.
The control system provides the possibility of enframing presses into automatic lines and complexes.
